What is FraudShield, how can I access it and how does it work?

FraudShield is an anti-fraud system that works alongside Virtual POS.

You can access this application through the “risk” section on the Virtual POS screen.

In general, FraudShield is a rule defining system. You define rules that block transactions that you think to be risky for your business and the system automatically applies them.

For example, you are selling computers and you have received an order worth TL 3 billion at 5 o’clock in the morning. Furthermore, the e-mail address provided by the customer is taken from systems that offer free web mail such as hotmail or yahoo. Probably, it is a transaction performed with a stolen card. However, before you become aware of it, your employees have dispatched the order! Now, it’s too late. 

FraudShield offers effective protection against situations like this. This system completely blocks suspicious transactions in line with the rules you have defined. For example, to prevent the situation above, you can define a rule such as “Block orders over 500 million, received after 2 o’clock from e-mail addresses.”

  1. What do I have to do if my credit card is lost or stolen?
