After the customer enters his/her credit card information in the website’s form while shopping on a website, this information is securely transmitted to the bank via the internet, and authorization is obtained. This software, compatible with the SSL encryption technology, ensures that the authorization procedure is carried out securely and that the information transmitted via the internet is not accessed by third parties. The Bank (Garanti BBVA), deducts the authorized transaction amounts in regards to the purchases made by the customers from their credit card limits and transfers this amount to the merchant store’s account.
