General Shareholders’ Meeting 

Dear Shareholders,

The Ordinary General Shareholders’ Meeting of our Bank regarding the fiscal year 2019, which has been announced to be convened on Friday, July 17th, 2020 at 10:00 o’clock, will be held both physically and electronically within the framework of the relevant legislation. We strongly recommend that our shareholders prefer to attend the general assembly electronically without leaving home and entering a crowded environment due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) epidemic, which affects our country as well as the whole world and threatens public health.

You can reach the guidelines regarding participation to the General Assembly electronically from our Bank’s internet website, Public Disclosure Platform, Turkish Trade Registry Gazette and from general assembly announcement documents published in Hürriyet and Sabah newspapers dated June 25th, 2020.

We kindly request our shareholders, who plan to attend the meeting physically, to consider the following points.

  • Do you show any of the new coronavirus (COVID-19) symptoms (fever, cough or respiratory distress or sore throat/headache, common muscle-joint pain, flu-like symptoms such as chills-shivering, or nausea-vomiting-diarrhea, sudden taste-sensation loss)?
  • Have you been tested for the New Coronavirus (COVID-19) in a healthcare facility?
  • Have you been in close contact with any person (s) diagnosed with New Coronavirus (COVID-19) in the past 14 days?
  • Have you been quarantined in the past 14 days for suspected illness?
  • If your answer to one or more of the questions above is "Yes", we ask you not to attend the Ordinary General Assembly Meeting.



  • Entries to the building for the Ordinary General Assembly Meeting will be made from the main door (Zincirlikuyu side) after passing through a thermal camera control unit.
  • If the body temperature is detected to be 37.6 ° C and above, our guests will be taken to the temporary waiting area with their masks on to be measured one more time after a short period of time with the thermal camera. The entrance to the building will not be allowed if their body temperature is detected to be 37.6 ° C and above again.


  • Unmasked access to the building is not permitted. It is mandatory to use a medical mask inside the building at all times and it must not be removed during entire stay. A mask will also be provided at the entrance of the Conference Hall in case needed.



  • Social distance is one of the most effective methods to prevent the spread of the epidemic. Therefore, all signs and information issued in order to maintain social distance in the building must be complied with.
  • The seats in the hall where the Ordinary General Assembly Meeting will take place are marked to leave a distance of at least 1.5 meters. We ask you to sit on the seats marked in the seating arrangement and not to be in close contact with other meeting participants.



  • No food and beverage service will be provided during the meeting.
