Important Changes in Garanti BBVA Customer Communication Center

Dear Customers,

In order to provide you with a secure service, there will be a change in the security controls used in the Customer Communication Center as of July 1, 2020. We would like to inform you so that your transactions continue uninterrupted.

Along with the change due to Regulation About Banks’ Information Systems and Electronic Banking Services; customers who call the Customer Communication Center will need to confirm a mobile notification or enter one-time password that will be sent via SMS, in addition to the card pin or Garanti BBVA Customer Communication Center passwords while connecting to the customer representative. Our Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system will guide you step by step during your transactions.

As of July 1, 2020, when you call the Customer Communication Center (444 0 333);

Firstly, please tell your transaction to IVR system, then enter your card number and card pin or customer number and Garanti BBVA Customer Communication Center password*.

If you use Garanti BBVA Mobile, after you are connected to the customer representative;

  • You may conduct your transaction if you are authenticated with your voice,
  • Otherwise, you need to confirm notification sent via Garanti BBVA Mobile to conduct your transaction.

 We kindly remind you that in order to get authentication notifications, your notification preferences at Garanti BBVA Mobile should be turned on.

If you don’t use Garanti BBVA Mobile;

  • You will be directed to customer representative after you enter one-time password sent via SMS to your registered phone number.

If your phone number is not up to date, you may update it through our ATMs or branches.

Since you will need to dial the password sent to your mobile phone during the call, putting your phone on the speaker before the call will make it easier for you when you enter the password.

You can easily generate your card pin via  IVR system in Customer Communication Center.

Besides, our customer representatives serve you for your lost or stolen card and fraud reporting, without any need of mobile notification approval or one-time password.
