Our Precautions for Coronavirus Spread

Dear Customers,

At GarantiBBVA, the health and safety of our employees, customers and the communities we serve is our top priority.

In addition to all precautions currently implemented at all our locations as determined by World Health Organization and the Ministry of Health regarding Coronavirus outbreak, we are taking new measures without any financial service interruption as of today.

In order to protect the health and safety of our customers,

  • We encourage you to use Garanti BBVA Mobile and Internet Banking for all your non-cash transactions. To learn how to make frequently used banking transactions on Garanti BBVA Mobile, please click here to watch the videos on our official YouTube channel. In case you may need, we will continue to offer all of our services through our branches.
  • To help you make faster and easier financial transactions, the daily withdrawal limits have been increased until a new announcement. The highest daily withdrawal limit starts from 5,000 TL.
  • You may withdraw cash from other banks' ATMs free of charge.
  • We have increased our credit cards' contactless payment limit so that you can pay up to 250 TL without entering your PIN when shopping.
  • Our branches currently in service will begin to work between 09.00-12.30 and 13.30-17.00 as of May 6th.
  • Due to the Notices issued by the Ministry of Interior*, All customers must wear a mask during their stay in the branch. Customers who are age 65 and over, and below age 20 should primarily prefer Garanti BBVA Mobile and Internet Banking for their transactions.
  • In this regard, we kindly ask you to stay at home and not to go to branches unless it is very necessary; prefer credit and debit cards for shopping and prefer contactless payment when possible. If you need cash, please withdraw money through QR code without touching the ATM

To protect the health and safety of our employees;

  • We told our employees from branches to headquarters, who are in the risk group defined by the Ministry of Health, to stay at home by taking administrative permission leave.
  • Most of our employees will continue their work from home starting from Tuesday, March 17th, with remote access model.
  • We have provided essential health and sanitary materials for all our locations and educated our employees how to use those materials.
  • We have suspended all customer visits, meetings and other events to be reorganized depending on the progress of the situation.
  • With the closure of the schools, we encouraged our employees who have children studying in kindergarten and primary schools to take annual leave and spend time with their children.

We strongly believe that, all the precautions and measures we take to protect you, our employees and the community cannot reach to its purpose without your support.

We thank you for your understanding and wish you a healthy day.
