Enhance your security with the single-use PIN generator Şifrematik!


Şifrematik is the “single-use PIN” generator that provides additional security on your Internet/Mobile Banking* transactions. After you perform your transactions with a PIN generated by Şifrematik, neither you nor anyone else using Şifrematik can use the same PIN again.

Advantages of Şifrematik

You can carry your Şifrematik with you and access Internet Banking safely and easily from internet cafes, your home, work or similar places.
When you don’t have your Şifrematik with you, you can log on to Internet Banking with the “Back-Up PIN” that will be sent to your mobile phone via SMS. For further information about the “Back-Up PIN

You can request a Şifrematik through the Settings menu on Internet Banking.

Be careful when using your Şifrematik!

  • For your security, you should not share your Şifrematik with anyone and keep it with you at all times.
  • If your Şifrematik is lost or stolen, you should have it closed for use by calling 444 0 333 Garanti BBVA Customer Communication Center.
  • Your PIN CODE should not consist of same or sequential numbers, and numbers that can be easily guessed such as your date of birth. You should not share your PIN CODE with anyone, including the employees of our bank.
  • You should not share the PINs generated by Şifrematik with anyone including the employees of our bank.

*Şifrematik can also be used for logging on to Mobile Banking. However Şifrematik requests cannot be submitted via Mobile Banking.

** Mobile Banking is not available for our Corporate Customers.
