For the operation of application functions, you must approve some permissions.


In devices that use Android and iOS andoperating system, some permissions are required for certain functions in Mobile Banking and other applications.

The permissions requested form your device for our applications, and the functions that require permissions are below:

  • Direct call permission: Permission is required to call your branch and customer representative directly through the application.
  • Access to phone status and identification: It is necessary for us to detect which device is experiencing problems in possible failure situations.
  • Camera use (Photo and Video): Required for the operation of money withdrawal or payment with QR function.
  • Access to location services: Permission is requested for you to view the ATM/Branch screen, and nearby offers.
  • Access to Google services: Required for using Google Maps.
  • Access to Contacts: Required for enabling you to select a phone number from your contacts in GSM TL top-up transactions.
  • Access to network connections and WiFi connections: Required for connection to internet.
  • Cep Şifrematik SMS permit: Required for sending an SMS to reactivate your Cep Şifrematik.
  • Internet and contacts permit: Required for the operation of the application in devices running Blackberry operating system, and for selecting a phone number from your contacts in GSM TL top-up transactions.
  • Google Cloud Messaging: Permits requested by Google for displaying instant notifications on your device.
  • Access to photos / media content / files: Required for temporarily saving your receipts in the memory of your device.
  • To enhance the service quality and you security in Garanti BBVA mobile applications, additional software such as Vasco Data Security products, and Webroot antivirus programs are used.
  • An application that has “Draw over other apps” permission has been detected on your device which may affect your Mobile Banking use. You can view the application that have this permission through the “Settings” step, “Application Manager” tab of your device. You can access our applications after closing these applications.
